2.0 LEADERSHIP CLASS
The 2.0 Leadership class is selected from applications and nominations from member companies. The program is focused on emerging leaders (new or veteran to FTA) who want to further develop their professional skill sets, and contribute to the Association and industry in a meaningful way. Class members will spend a year focusing on public policy; industry and regulatory issues; public relations and media training; and network with established leaders across sectors.
Applications for the 2021-2022 Leadership Class are due February 15, 2021
•Executive VP of Sales for Signature Financial LLC.
•Responsible for financing originations in Florida trucking and construction industries.
•Manage a $95MM portfolio
•12 years in equipment financing, the last 5 ½ with Signature Financial
•Bi-lingual in Spanish
2.0 VICE CHAIR
•Director of Purchasing and Procurement for Walpole, Inc.
•Responsibilities include managing Walpole’s Maintenance Department, ordering and spec’ing equipment, managing inventory, and monitoring fuel to overseeing tire program.
•Recent graduate of the ATA LEAD program.
•Florida Wholesale Manager for Navistar International in the used truck division
•With Navistar for 7 years
•Works with the International dealers as well as independent dealers throughout Florida to distribute our off-lease trade packages as they are received.
LORI ANN CHAUSSINAND
•Account Manager for Pilot Flying J Travel Centers overseeing Florida and Georgia.
•26+ years in the Oil and Gas industry with an emphasis on Industrial Lubricants, Additives and Diesel Fuel.
•Recipient of Pilot Flying J’s prestigious Founders Club Award.
•Fleet Safety Manager for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits
•Implements short-term and long-term strategies for maintaining a healthy safety culture
•Oversees the driver onboarding and training processes from start to finish
•Customer Service/Logistics Leader for Dillon Logistics Inc at the Florida Terminals
•Responsible for load planning and operations and works with customers to ensure service and efficiency. Coordinates with operations team to reduce cost, increase asset utilization and keep deliveries on schedule.
•Responsible for developing operational KPI’s and reporting.
•Transportation Insurance Specialist for McGriff Insurance Services.
•20 years in the transportation industry with expertise in the industry and its challenges; whether they be operational, contractual, or safety related.
•Manager of Capacity Management at C.H. Robinson.
•Oversees the contractual and transactional alignment to carriers; and oversees the Capacity Team members in C.H. Robinson’s Tampa, Miami, and Orlando offices.
•Over the last 11 years other positions at C.H. Robinson include Carrier Representative, Supervisor, and Account Manager.
•Director of Risk Management for Indian River Transport
•Oversees Safety, Claims and Recruiting. Responsibilities include maintaining safety program to improve the fleets safe driving performance and efficiency.
•Works with HR to promote driver wellness, handles auto and workman’s comp claims, evaluates driver candidates/recruiting, works with Health Benefits for employees, head of the safety committee and coordinates all insurance policy renewals.

November 15: Public Policy, the Legislative Process and Economic Update--Orlando
January 22-23: Trucking Day at the Capitol and private 2.0 team building event
March 5 (approx.): Professional email writing training
May 5 (approx.): Lunch and Learn with CEO's on the FTA Board
June 10 (approx.): Dial-in conference with ATA member; industry-specific topic presented by expert
July 23: Host Annual Conference cocktail hour; engage in Board Meeting; work on legacy project
October 2020 Fall Round-Up: Graduation recognition of first 2.0 Class; presentation of legacy project
